At Cheese, the Italian and International Market in Piazza Carlo Alberto and Piazza Roma hosts the very finest products that cheesemakers, shepherds, cheese mongers and affineurs from Italy and round the world have to offer.

And for the first time ever, the cow’s, ewe’s and goat’s cheeses on sale will all be made strictly with raw milk. This is a big step forward that will allow us to raise the bar of quality even higher and ensure that the products on display at the Market are consistent with the theme of this year’s event: ‘The State of Raw Milk’.

Besides cheese and dairy produce, the market will also feature honeys, jams and preserves to go with them.

A number of foreign countries will be represented at the Market, but the focus in 2017 will be on the USA, where Slow Food launched its now historic American Raw Milk Cheeses Presidium.

That’s not all. In the streets, courtyards and piazzas of Bra, you’ll be able to meet other people who, over the years, have helped make Cheese such a great open-air get-together.

Street Kitchens will be arriving from all over Italy to serve up the country’s tastiest street foods. Between regulars and new faces, you’ll be spoiled for choice.

California-style food trucks are becoming increasingly popular across Europe. At Cheese 2017 they will be offering their customary range of top quality Italian food at affordable prices. And if you want to enhance your experience even further, why not visit the kiosks on the corner of Piazza Roma and Via Audisio?

At the Beer Piazza, you’ll be liable to get lost – as always! – in the maze of Italian and foreign craft beer labels as you seek out the one that suits your palate and goes best with the street food of your choice.

Last but not least, the Pizza Piazza, in the courtyard of the Scuole Maschili, will be larger, richer and more attractive than ever. Here, in one of the liveliest corners of the whole Cheese event, surrounded by soft doughs, tomato sauce, basil and obviously, cheese, you’ll find out what pizza is all about.

The Italian and International Market will be open every day from 10am to 8.30pm.
The Presidia stalls will follow the same timetable, every day from 10am to 8.30pm.
The Street Kitchens, Food Trucks, Beer Piazza and Pizza Piazza will be open from Friday to Sunday, from 12 noon to 12 midnight , and on Monday from 12 noon to 8.30pm.
