British cheese and Barolo wine

Bra-Via Cavour

Five British cheeses—Highfields, Hafod, Stoneback Wensleydale, St James and Raw Milk Stitchelton (Slow Food Presidium)—aged  by the iconic English affineurs of Neal’s Yard Dairy go head to head with the wines of historic Barolo winemaker G.D. Vajra.

On one side, a wide-ranging tasting of the British cheesemaking tradition, and on the other, a series of labels that represent the great winemaking traditions of the Langhe. The tasting is led by Brownwen Percival, buyer for Neal’s Yard, and Francesca Vaira.

Price: €35, or €30 for Slow Food members. Maximum capacity: 30 people. To book: https://www.eventbrite.it/e/biglietti-cheese-2019-latti-doltremanica-e-vigne-del-barolo-63746917747
