Michele Di Carlo, bartender and friend of Slow food, enlivens the Slow Bar with his creations. As we savor his cocktails, he shares how they were crafted and uncovers their origins.
In Campania, we present two cocktails to brighten up your afternoon and fill it with sweetness:
- the Maria l’Addolorata, a bloody mary based on San Marzano tomatoes, drops of colatura di alici from Cetara, and Amalfi Coast lemon zest as garnish.
- the Mjere e pesche, with sliced yellow peaches, Amalfi Coast lemon juice, and Asprinio di Anversa. Campania’s take on Sangria!
For those seeking tradition, classic favorites like the Americano, Negroni, and Gin Tonic remain ever-present.
The cocktails are available to Slow Food members at a price of €5 each. New members will receive a complimentary cocktail (in addition to the exclusive Cheese bag).
Cheese 2023 is organized by Slow Food and the City of Bra from September 15-18. See you there! #Cheese2023
