The chefs of the Italian and international Slow Food Cooks’ Alliance prepare a dinner that explores the full spectrum of grass-based products. Join us at Cheese for a wonderfully fragrant dîner sur l’herbe.
The diner brings the finest products derived from meadows and pastures to the table:
- edible wild herbs and flowers, which are an important resource for a healthy and nourishing diet
- raw milk cheeses and dairy products that showcase the aromatic complexity of the grassy rind
- sheep and goat meats, representing the essence of sustainable farming practices in high-altitude regions.
What our protagonists offer in this collaborative dinner is a journey to meadows of varied altitude and latitude, to reflect on the essence of different terroirs.
The food is paired with wines from the Slow Wine Coalition: Planeta, Bertani and Ceretto; and vermouth by Consorzio del Vermouth di Torino.
Pollenzo is located approximately 6 kilometers from Bra. During Cheese, the location will be easily accessible by shuttle.
Tickets are available online until September 14. From September 15-18 any remaining tickets will be available to buy at the Event Reception in Via Mendicità Istruita 14.
