Slow Food believes in the power of cinema to create bonds between the audience: even in this age of individual consumption at home, with our TVs connected to a seemingly-infinite array of content, the cinema as a space continues to represent an importance example of a cultural meeting point, especially for smaller communities.
At Cheese 2021 Slow Food offers you four film screenings dedicated to the theme of dairy animals and the relationships we can establish through raising them and looking after them in a symbiotic dynamic where we depend on them as much as they do on us.
These four screenings are also a cinematic aperitif, because we won’t just watch! After each film there’ll be a tasting of natural products, from cheeses to cured meats and wines.
In line with current regulations, events at Biodiversity House at Cheese 2021 are reserved exclusively for visitors in possession of a Digital COVID Certificate (also known as a Green Pass). Each event has a maximum attendance of 35 people, and is organized on a first come, first served basis. Arriving at least 15 minutes before the beginning of the event is advised in order to ensure a place.
